At the beginning of a year, it’s easy to imagine everything fitting neatly into the months ahead. We set goals, make plans, and picture how much we’ll accomplish before December. By November, however, the picture usually looks a little different. Some things are finished, others have changed, and a few meaningful projects still need more time.
That’s where we find ourselves as we enter the final stretch of 2026.
Across DLK Music, we’re now planning our next new music releases for the first quarter of 2027. For DLK Soulful EDM, that means “You’re the Most.” For DLK Lounge, it means our upcoming track featuring Malichi Watson, also known as Guitarbowl.
DLK Soul is also gearing up for the first quarter with a remix of one of Carl Brister’s tracks. We’re looking forward to sharing more about that project when the time comes.
Looking Ahead While Wrapping Up the Year
These are projects we’re excited to bring to you, even as their timelines extend into the new year. We wanted to share that shift clearly rather than leave everyone wondering what happened to the next release.
Before then, “Plan of Perfection” will have one final promotional moment: a special, limited-edition holiday bundle. We’ll announce its contents and availability once everything is ready.
Meanwhile, the video studio and website upgrades continue at a slower pace. We’d love to have more finished by now, but we’re still working through the steps.
Perhaps that sounds familiar. When you care about several things at once, progress can feel spread thin. This season, we’re focusing on following through, making realistic plans, and giving each project the attention it needs.
For us, that’s what finishing strong looks like this year, even when not everything makes it across the finish line before December.
